Information about the course

This course requires students to successfully complete 2 units of competency. Student must successfully meet all criteria for both units to be deemed competent. Please refer to course information located under tabs for each of the individual units for details regarding the units listed below:

• UETTDRRF10 Provide first aid in an electricity supply (ESI) environment

• HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

Target audience:

Those who are required to provide an emergency first aid response in an electricity supply industry.

​

By undertaking this course, individuals will be provided with the knowledge and skills required to provide first aid in an electricity supply industry (ESI) environment. Individuals will be able apply their skills and knowledge by being able to recognise the need for first aid in an emergency situation and providing an initial first aid response, including basic life support measures, according to established workplace first aid policies and procedures.

Application of the skills and knowledge described in this unit may require a licence/registration to practice in the workplace or ESI environment and may be subject to regulations for undertaking of electrical work. State and territory legislative and regulatory licencing requirements must be confirmed prior to commencing this unit.

Course Duration

Online delivery with face to face Practical assessment – self paced online learning with a scheduled 45-minute face to face practical assessment.

This course is easily run on your request. Our AHPRA registered paramedic will guide you through the required work. Simply complete your booking and pay online by following the links. The only pre-requisite is proof of completion of the online pre-course work.
