This course applies to workers in the construction industry. It covers fundamental WHS requirements necessary to undertake work tasks within any sector in the construction industry. It is now a mandatory requirement for all trainers who deliver the White Card Course (CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry) to hold this particular unit. Through video evidence, students are required to demonstrate the performance of work in a safe manner through awareness of risks and work requirements, and the planning and performance of safe work practices with concern for personal safety and the safety of others. You are also required to perform emergency first aid treatment of minor injuries. Certificates issued by Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909.

Instructions for your Course: 

​

The flexible format of the course means that you can log in as many times as required to complete the course - you do not need to complete the course all in one sitting. For our online courses, we recommend that you use Google Chrome as your browser, as other browsers, such as Internet Explorer, may not display the multimedia content of the course.

This course is Self Paced - It is expected students may complete the course within 4.5 hours (depending on experience levels)

Learning content is provided in an online format within the course, and assessment activities consist of:
Complete three (3) simulated performance tasks: (Please note you will be required to supply your own PPE and a first aid kit)

  • Complete a risk assessment and upload a video outlining the hazards identified and the control measures to be implemented

  • Conduct a risk assessment and upload a video to demonstrate safe work practices

  • Provide emergency first aid treatment for a minor injury

Complete the following documentation:

  • Two (2) Risk Assessment forms

  • One (1) Incident Report form

Complete a theory assessment consisting of multiple-choice and short-answer questions.

 

Work your way through each of the sections below. All sections must be completed.

Once your course is complete you will be emailed your Statement of Attainment.
